Save the Date(s) for Our 55th Season!

We have confirmed several of our concerts for the 2015-2016 season, and they’re listed on our Concerts page.  We look forward to seeing you in Walled Lake, Royal Oak, Shelby Township, Sterling Heights, and/or Dearborn!  Know another place we should sing?  Contact us at (313) 242-SATB to bring us to your church, festival, holiday party, or other event.

We’ll be holding an Open Rehearsal for prospective new singers on Sunday, September  13, 2015 at our regular rehearsal location (Royal Oak First United Methodist) and time (6:30 pm).  Interested singers may borrow music and try out a rehearsal with returning Cantata members, and perhaps sign up for an audition. Whether you’re actively looking for a choir or just curious about our group, we hope you’ll come to this rehearsal and sing with us!

Upcoming Concert Collaborations

This spring and summer, we’re bringing you choral sounds from all across Michigan.  The Camerata Singers of Midland will join us for our spring concert, “All About Love.”  In the summer, we’ll be hosting Traverse City’s Canticum Novum as they tour the state.  We look forward to singing with these excellent ensembles!

The concert is part of First Presbyterian’s Fine Arts Series, and tickets will be available at the door ($5 adults; $3 students/seniors).  For further information, please contact the church directly (586.465.0461).
